*The book deals with the anecdotes of Jagadguru Sri Bharathi Theertha Mahaswamin*
28. A devotee prepared the welcome address to His Holiness with the help of his limited knowledge in Sanskrit. He read it out when His Holiness paid a visit to that town. Someone who had been listening to his version warned him that he might have displeased His Holiness, for there were grammatical errors in his Sanskrit. Trembling with fear, he approached His Holiness, paid his respects and sought His pardon. Surprised at his shudder, the Guru asked for the reason. He said, "I have committed a large number of errors in the matter I had prepared...." His Holiness remarked: "It is your ardent devotion that My mind registered and not your Vyakarana (Grammar). I am very pleased by your devotion to your Guru. It's pure." The man could not control his tears of joy. The one who had caused panic in this person was dumbstruck by the attitude of His Holiness.
