జగద్గురువులు శ్రీ శ్రీ భారతీతీర్థ మహాస్వామి వారి ఆశీస్సులతో ......

ఇది "శ్రీ గురో పాహిమాం...పరమ దయాళో పాహిమాం" అను పాట గురించి ప్రస్తావించబడినది. ఈ భక్తురాలు, 5, 2 మరియు 1 సంవత్సరాల వయస్సు గల పిల్లలకు నాయనమ్మ, మనవళ్లు, మనవరాళ్ళు నిద్రపోయేలా చేయడానికి రోజూ 'శ్రీ గురో పాహిమాం' అనే పాట పాడే అలవాటు ఆమెకు ఉన్నది. ఆమె ఒక రోజు చిన్న బిడ్డను ఊయలలో జో కొడుతూ, పాడుతూ ఉండగా, ఆమె పనిమనిషి ఆ బిడ్డను ఎత్తుకొని చిన్నగా పాట పాడింది. ఆ పనిమనిషి కూడా తన పిల్లలను నిద్ర పుచ్చేటప్పుడు ఇలాగే జోల పాట పాడేదని చెప్పినది.

ఆ పనిమనిషి కథ ఇలా వున్నది.... 15సంవత్సరాల క్రితం వరకు తనకు సొంత పిల్లలు లేరు, ఆమె సోదరుడు మరియు అతని భార్య ఒకరి తరువాత ఒకరు మరణించినప్పుడు, వారి పసి పిల్లలను దత్తత తీసుకొని తన సొంత బిడ్డలుగా పెంచుకోవడానికి బాధ్యతను ఆమె తన భుజాల మీద వేసుకున్నది. అందరూ పెద్దవారు అయినారు, ఒకరు వివాహం చేసుకున్నారు, అతనికి ఒక పసి పిల్లవాడు, మరొకరు ఇంకా తన చదువును కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు. వారందరూ కలిసి ఒకేచోట జీవిస్తున్నారు.

గత సంవత్సరం, తన సమీపంలో నివసించే తన సోదరి కోడలు చిన్న వయస్సులోనే కన్నుమూసింది. ఆమెకు ఒక సంవత్సరం బాలుడు మరియు 2 సంవత్సరాల వయస్సు గల అమ్మాయి వున్నారు. వారిని పెంచే బాధ్యతను కూడా ఆమె తన తలకెత్తుకున్నది.

ఈ చిన్నారికి పాఠశాల చదువుతున్న సమయంలో, పనిమనిషి ఆమెను ప్రభుత్వ ఉచిత-సీటు కోటా కింద సమీపంలోని ప్రైవేట్ పాఠశాలలో చేర్పించాలని అనుకున్నది. గట్టి పోటీ మరియు సిఫారసు వుంటేగానీ, ఉచిత సీటు పొందే అవకాశాలు దాదాపుగా లేవు. ఆ సమయంలోనే భక్తురాలు మరియు ఆమె భర్త శృంగేరి పర్యటనకు ప్రణాళికలు వేసుకున్నారు. తన అమ్మాయికి ఈ ఉచిత సీటు లభించేలా ఆచార్యుల ఆశీస్సులు కోరుకోవాలని పనిమనిషి ఆ దంపతులను కోరినది. భక్తురాలు తన హృదయపూర్వక ప్రార్థనలను ఆచార్యుల దివ్య సన్నిధిలో సమర్పించినారు.

ప్రవేశ జాబితాను ప్రకటించాల్సిన రోజున, పనిమనిషి ఆ చిన్నారితో పాటు పూర్తి ఆందోళనతో వచ్చింది. భక్తురాలు వారికి మంత్రాక్షతల ప్రసాదం ఇచ్చినది. కొంత సమయం తరువాత పనిమనిషి మెరుస్తున్న చిరునవ్వుతో వచ్చింది, గురు దేవుళ్ళ అనుగ్రహం తో ఆ చిన్నారికి సీటు వచ్చింది. పాఠశాల అధికారులు సిఫారసు పద్ధతికి స్వస్తి పలికి లక్కీ డ్రా వ్యవస్థ ద్వారా పిల్లలను ఎంపిక చేసినారని తెలిసినది.

భక్తురాలు తన ప్రార్థనలను ఆచార్యుల వారు అంగీకరించాడని అనుకున్నది, కానీ ఆమె పనిమనిషి "శ్రీ గురో పాహిమాం" అని పాడటం వలనే, ఆమె యొక్క హృదయపూర్వక ప్రార్థనల వలనే అంతా ఇలా జరిగిందని తాను గ్రహించినది. ఆమె బిడ్డ కూడా ఈ పాటను చాలా చక్కగా పాడుతుందని పనిమనిషి మాతో ప్రస్తావించినప్పుడు, మా కళ్ళల్లో నీళ్ళు తిరిగినాయి. అదే సమయానికి ఎక్కడో చిన్నగా గంట మ్రోగింది అవును అన్నట్లుగా. నిశ్చలమైన భక్తితో శ్రీ గురువులకు శరణాగతి చేయండి, మీ కోరికలన్నీ ఈడేరుతాయి. పరమ పావనమైన పాదం అది,శ్రీ గురు పాదం.

Episode - 9 August 15th, 2019

This is with reference to the singing of Sri Guru Pahimam Parama Dayalo Pahimam.

This devotee, a grand mother of kids ageing 5, 2 and 1 has the habit of singing Sri Guru Pahimam song to put her grandchildren to sleep.
While she was singing and cradling the small baby one day, her
maid took over and sang the same in a low tone. On enquiring, the maid said that she also sings the song to put her kids to sleep.

The maid's story goes like this...
Having no kids of her own, 15 years back when her brother and his wife died one after other she took the responsibility of bringing their young boys as her own after proper adoption. All grown up, with one married and blessed with a kid the other one pursuing his studies, they all live together.

Last year her sister's daughter-in-law who lived near by passed away at an young age leaving behind an year old boy and a girl ageing 2 years.

She once again took the responsibility of bringing them up as well.

At the time of schooling for this little girl, the maid wanted to admit her in a nearby private school under the Government free-seat quota. With stiff competition and recommendation, chances of getting a free seat was almost nil.
Around this time the devotee and her husband were planning a trip to Sringeri. The maid asked the couple to seek Acharyals Blessings so that the girl gets this free seat.
The devotee put her sincere prayers in the divine presence of Acharyals.
On the D-day when the admission list was to be declared, the maid came with full anxiety along with the little girl. The devotee gave them mantrakshadai prasadam. After some time the maid came beaming with smile, stating that with Gurunathar's Anugraham the little girl got the seat. It seems the school authorities had a lucky draw system which over came the recommendation quota.

All these days the devotee was swelling with little pride that Acharyal Has accepted her prayers but hearing her maid singing Sri Guru Pahimam....she realised that it was her maid's sincere prayers through the song that has fetched her the much needed fruit. When the maid mentioned that the little girl also sings the song pretty well, it rang the bell for the devotee to share this episode with us.
