Guru Pradosham: Chance to Remove Guru's Curse

Exalted JupiterThe two upcoming Pradoshams are called Guru Pradosham, because next two 13th Moons will occur on a Thursday (November 20th & December 4th). The special property of a Guru Pradosham Moon is that it allows us to clear a Guru's curse (teacher, educator, mentor or elder). Of course, not everyone is afflicted with a Guru's curse but if we are, it's serious, because no matter how smart, how educated or how connected we are we will never rise in life. The next Guru Pradosham on November 20th (IST) is a waning moon pradosham so it will clear karma creating obstacles in our life and with your Guru. The final Guru Pradosham of 2014 occurs on December 4th (IST) and it is a waxing moon pradosham so it will clear karma that blocks Guru's blessings coming to us from our previous or current life.

Additionally, two powerful Yogas will form on each Guru Pradosham. On November 20th, the Moon will be in the sign Libra and in the star Swati. The planet Rahu will be in the 12th sign from the Moon, this is called Maha Shakti yoga, a yoga that gives courage and leadership qualities. It will give the confidence to overcome any difficulty. OnDecember 4th, the Moon will be in the sign Aries. The planet Jupiter will be in the 4th house from the Moon in an exalted state forming Gaja Kesari Yoga. A yoga that would make one Leader. The yogas that form on the day of Guru Pradosham are a manifestation of pure grace. Propitiating Lord Shiva on Guru Pradosham will clear the karmas that block complete blessings that come to us from our Guru. Finally, Guru Pradosham will give us clarity, a sense of confidence and empower us to gain victory over our enemies.

AstroSpeak:

SiddhasSiddhas are masters of time and advise that us should not pray randomly. There is a right time for praying to each deity. For instance, you should pray to Lord Ganesha on the 4th waning moon, Muruga on the 6th moon, Bhairava on the 8th waning moon, Vishnu on the 11th waxing moon and Shiva on the 13th and New Moon.

Astronomy and AstrologyThe Science of Indian Astronomy and Astrology are ancient and developed together for a very long time. Astronomy is considered the body while Astrology is considered the soul. The astronomy of the solar system is the source for many characteristics of the planets and signs i.e., Saturn is the slowest planet, Mercury is the fastest and Moon is highly prone to changes. These characteristics will often manifest in one's personality when a planet strongly influences the 1st house of one's horoscope. Which planet(s) influence your 1st house?
