Dear Friends,
Last week I translated seven more stotras. Two of them are rare stotras on Ganapathi , one a very rare stotra addressed to Lord Balarama and the other four are addressed to the Goddess. They are
1.Ganesa Namaskara stotram
Which lists eight names of Ganesa and then the prayers addressed to those eight forms.

2. Narada Krutha Ganesa Stotram
This is a prayer which is found in Narada Pancharathra, which is a Vaishnavite text. The stotra clearly mentions that Lord Ganesa should be worshipped before other Gods are worshipped.

3. Balarama Sthava Raja
Lord Balarama is one of the Dasavastharas. There is also a belief that he is the avathara of Adhi sesha. He is armed with a plough and is an expert in war with mace(Gadha) . Duryodhana is his disciple.Unlike all other Avatharas , he is not very much involved in killing of great Rakshasas or in great wars. His birthday is celebrated as Akshaya Tritheeya, This stotra is taken from Garga Samhitha.

Here is a very remarkable prayer in Tamil , Each stanza mentions a form of Goddess , the offering of worship by a flower and how she will bless us.

Place of good things . . . If an egg is broken by an outside force, a life ends. If it breaks from within, a life begins. Great things always begin from within.
