In the course of his conversation with His Holiness, a devotee asked, "Is there any particular verse in the Bhagavad Gita that Your Holiness considers to be the most striking?" The sage acknowledged the question with an all-knowing smile and said, "I like the verse Adreshtaa sarva bhoothaanaam maitrah karuna evacha..."" (Chapter XII/verse-13). The devotee politely sought the reason why His Holiness would consider this verse to be the most appealing to Him. His Holiness said, "The verse lists the qualities that one should cultivate to make this human life fruitful. I always keep these in mind while treading the path of life."
