For want of a nail the shoe - Sanskrit translation

I ॐ श्री गुरुभ्यो नमः।

I वन्दे संस्कृतमातरम् I

कीलाभावान्नोपयुक्तं खुरत्रं तस्याभावान्नोपयुक्तस्तुरङ्गः

अश्वाभावात् प्राचलन्नैव सादी युद्धे हानिः प्राभवत् साद्यभावात् ।

युद्धे घातात् राज्यमेव प्रणष्टं कीलाभावादेव राज्यस्य नाशः

स्वल्पाभावात् संभवेत् सर्वनाशः हन्तानूह्या हेतुकार्यप्रणाली ॥

Based on the Nursery Rhyme:

For want of a nail the shoe was lost.

For want of a shoe the horse was lost.

For want of a horse the rider was lost.

For want of a rider the battle was lost.

For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.

And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.
