A young boy just after completion of BCom in May 1977 was in Chennai in search of a suitable job He has already written tests for three nationalised banks He has attended interviews in two banks and was waiting for the results which were delayed for reasons unknown
In November 1977 both the Acharyals Mahasannidhanam Anantashrivibhushita Sri Sri Sri Abhinava Vidya Tirtha Mahaswamigal and Sannidhanam Sri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Swamigal performed Navaratri functions in a great grand manner at Navasuja Raja Annamalaipuram Chennai
The young boy already an ardent devotee of Sri Sringeri Acharyals from his childhood was very happy to have been blessed with this rare opportunity and was visiting the venue by walk from a far off place both to and fro and was having darshan of Acharyals, listening to the divine discourses, and witnessing the holy pooja daily
After the completion of Navaratri festival he felt very bad and could not even bear the fact that from the next day onwards he could not have darshan of Acharyals and pooja and was satisfying himself with whatever he had got for the past ten or more days
Soon after this one night he had a dream in his sleep In that dream he was in the sannadhi of Sri Shāradāmbā at Sringeri witnessing the all glorious Ambal to whom both the Acharyals were performing the pooja After completing the pooja, They came out and were just giving darshan and blessings to the large number of devotees present And when Sri Sri Sri Mahasannidhanam raised his hand and giving blessings, a pearl necklace from Sri Shāradāmbā came floating, touched SriAcharyal's hand and again floated to finally adore the young boy's neck which was witnessed by everyone with awe This boy was extremely happy and prostrated before Acharyals
After getting up he could not find the pearl necklace in his neck and was weeping like a small child over the loss of the God's gift He approached Acharyal and told Him about the loss of the pearl necklace
Acharyal just smiled and said MUTHU YENGEY KIDAIKKUM? (Where pearl will be available?)
With this the dream ended abrubtly The boy could not believe that it was a dream but slowly digested the fact that it was only a dream
After two months a call letter came from the third bank asking the boy to appear for an interview
In the interview the panel was highly appreciative of the high marks scored by the boy in the written test and the ONLY question the panel head asked the boy was this 'You belong to Tirunelveli We have no branch there but there is a vacancy in our Tuticorin branch Would you like to work there?'
Suddenly the boy had a lightning flash in his mind
about the dream he had two months ago and now only realised the answer to the question put forth by the Acharyal
( Immediately the boy said yes and joined the job)
He also got selected and was offered jobs by the other two banks for which orders came four months later after his joining the bank at Tuticorin
He still continues to be baffled by this shower of blessings on him by Acharyals🙏🙏🙏
