Greetings and Namaste. 03-Aug-2020 (Monday) is a special day as many occasions converge on that day viz. Yajur Upakarma, Pournami and Lord Hayagriva Jayanti.
I am delighted to share a very short and sweet hymn on Lord Hayagriva by Lord Vishnu as told to Lord Rudra taken from Garuda Puranam and Chapter 34. In fact, this chapter details the procedure to perform Puja to Lord Hayagriva with cryptic details of Parivara Devata Pujas. Though the stotra is at the end of the chapter, the Dhyanam and Nyasam have been assembled from different parts of the same chapter to make it in line with normal stotra structures.
I have been searching to obtain a copy of Hayagriva Kalpam which is supposed to be a treatise on Hayagriva Upasana but not yet lucky. I have not seen that in print any where and therefore must exist in manuscript form somewhere.
May We Pray to Lord Hayagriva with this beautiful hymn and seek His Blessings to attain the divine knowledge!
