A hunter shot an arrow to cut the tail of a Chamari animal. In order to protect her modesty she struggled to shield her tail by bending her neck. She felt that her modesty is more precious than her life. Obseving this Srirama's heart melted. He rescued the Chamari by diverting away the hunter's arrow with his arrow. His compassion is indescribable. Oh Rama who engrosses in music, Tyagaraja sings about your limitless prowess.
