About Maya in Mahabharata

Shankara has cited, twice, this Mahabharata verse:  'माया ह्येषा मया सृष्टा यन्मां पश्यसि नारद । सर्वभूतगुणैर्युक्तं मैवं मां ज्ञातुमर्हसि' इति स्मरणात् ।     The Lord, showing His Vishvarupa to Narada says:  All that you see Me as this whole creation, Narada, is my maayic projection. Do not take Me to be endowed with these (aatributes).   So, the Vibhutis are only expansions/projections of Brahman which is One only without any difference of whatever type.  In Vishnu Sahasra Nama Bhashya Shankara has said: there is non-difference between Brahman and Its vibhuti-s.  In other words, the variegated vibhuti-s are only vivarta-s of Brahman.
