Gita Chapter 2/46:
Yaavaanarttha udapaane sarvata: samplutodakeTaavaan sarveshu Vedeshu Braahmanasya vijaanata:
Eknath Easwaran puts it succinctly thus: "Just as a reservoir is little use when the whole countryside is flooded, scriptures are of little use to the illuminated man or woman who sees the Lord every where.
Another Seer opines: "To the one who has known the Supreme Brahman, all the Vedas (holy-books) are of only that much use as a reservoir is, when there is a flood everywhere!
The good Lord has placed this verse (46th) just preceding the 47th ( the quintessence of the Gitaamrutam as many view it?..... "karmanyevaadhikaaraste...etc...almost like saying "coming events cast their shadow")
Chap 6/30 ) where the good Lord Himself declares

Yo maam pasyati sarvatra sarva cha mayi pasyatitasya aham pranasyaami sa cha me na pranasyati
" For one who sees Me everywhere and sees everything in Me, I am never lost, nor is he ever lost to Me!
