Very Rare Abhaya Vishnu Stotram From Padma Puranam

Dear All,

 I am delighted to share a very rare 2-part hymn on Lord Vishnu taken from Padma Puranam, Bhumi Khanda and Chapter 19 titled Sumanopakhyanam.

1. Part-1 (first 27 Shlokas) is known as Abhaya Vishnu Stotram - a hymn that seeks Lord Vishnu's protection from all kinds of fears, as Soma Sharma prays to Lord Vishnu at the confluence of Kapila and Reva rivers. Chapter 19 continues with Soma Sharma's penance to Lord Vishnu with another prayer seeking devotion to Lord Vishnu in all his births in future and Sat Santana (divine progeny). Lord Vishnu eradicates all his fears and bestows the boons sought.

The year 2023 dawns at a time the world is facing uncertain times due to renewed Covid-19 surge, unending Ukraine war, natural calamities like US Blizzard, stock market rout, prognostications of global recession, and what not. While we hope for better times, the fears about future in the minds of people are real. From that perspective, the attached hymn is apt and help people muster enough strength to tide over the new year and scale new heights!
