Verse on Krishna - Sanskrit

यावच्चित्तं समन्ताद् विषयगिरितटज्वालमालावलीढम्
तावन्नायाति दृष्टिं हरिचरणयुगं संस्थितं मत्समीपे ।
शान्ते चित्ताग्निजाले तव वचनसुधास्नाननिर्धौतवृत्तौ
कृष्णेति द्व्यक्षरं ते श्रुतिसुखमधुरं श्रूयते नाम दिक्षु ।।
 
As long as the mind is encircled
With burning fires on the hills of objects
So long I don't see the feet of the Lord
Standing next to me
When the engulfing fires calm down
With the mind bathed in your words
Of pure ambrosia
Only then do I hear your name
Pleasing to my ears
O Krishna!
Resounding in all directions
