While a son can give satgati only for his parents, a daughter can give satgati for 21 generations. When one does kanyadhana of his daughter, he gives sadgati for 10 generations before, himself and 10 generations after.
The lack of resources is as well satiated by daughter's son, through tarpanam to mother's side 3 generations.
The ones without any kids are satiated by mahalaya Paksha shradham every year.
And they are also fed in tarpanam at the end, with lot of sesame seed and water, with the mantra "yeshana matha, na pitha..."
Our sanatana Dharma is very kind enough even to people who have committed great sins and residing in naraka....they are also being fed by our Nithya karma...during bath, we give sikhodagam by uttering "Latha gulmeshu " mantra and also do vaasodhagam. All these water go to the pitrus in naraka. After eating too, and after siping the water at the end, we give water through the thumb using mantra "rourave" for people residing in a nakara called rourava...
So sanatana Dharma takes care of everyone and no one is left behind.
