Gokulakrishna Iyer:
A tribute to Gurubhakta-śikhāmaṇi, Śāstraprasāra-bhūṣaṇa, Śrī TK Bālasubrahmaṇya Aiyar on the occassion of Śaṅkara-jayantī
Every time we read a work of Śrī Ādi Śaṅkara Bhagavatpāda we should remember that there was a great soul in the early half of the 20th Century CE in Tamil Nadu who worked hard to get the works of Ācharya published for the first time using the modern printing press. This extremely affluent brāhmaṇa spent all the wealth he earned during his lifetime as well as all his ancestral properties in the service of Bhagavatpāda and the whole of his Sampradāya.
In the 20 volumes of the Works of Śrī Śaṅkarācrya published by the Sri Vani Vilas Press of Śrīraṅgam, the Stotra-granthas have been published in Volumes 17 & 18. Here is a humble attempt to publish these Stotras in YouTube to help devotees learn reciting them.
