1. angam hareH pulaka bhooshaNam aasrayanthee
bhrngaanganaa ive mukulaabharaNam thamaalam
angeekrtha akhila vibhoothiH apaangaleelaa
maangalyadhaa asthu mama mangala dhevathaayaaH
May the playful glance of Mahalakshmi, the Goddess of all things auspicious, which resorts to the limbs of Lord Hari, which are adorned with horripilation, like a female bee to the Thamala tree adorned with buds and which is in accordance with all the glory of the Lord, bestow auspiciousness to me.

hareH angam- the limbs of Lord Hari,

bhrngaanaganaa iva- like a female bee (glances are compared to a female bee because of their darkcolour)

thamaalam – the Thamala tree ( The Lord is compared to the thamala tree due to His dark green hue)
mukulaabharaNam – which is adorned with buds

saa me Sriyam dhiSathu saagarasambhavaayaaH
May that beautiful glance of the daughter of the ocean, which causes garland of loving and bashful glances that go and come towards the face of Lord Murari, like the female bee that goes to the large blue lotus and returns continuously, may bring me prosperity.

The blue lotus is compared to the face of the Lord and the beeis compared to the glance of Lakshmee. Continuous going and coming of the glances at the face creates an impression of a garland of the glances.

May the eye of Mahlakshmi, the consort of the Lord who reclines on the serpent Sesha, which, reaching the Lord Mukunda, who has half-closed His eyes out of joy, and which is full of love, without batting the eyelids, the source of joy and with eye balls and eyelashes half closed, secure my well being.

May the garland of the glance of Lakshmi who dwells in lotus, which shines like a necklace made of blue sapphire on the chest of the slayer of Madhu adorned with the gem kousthubha, which is desirable even to the Lord, give me the blessing.

May the glorious form of Mahalakshmi, the mother of the universe, who was the daughter of Brgu, who shines like a lightning among the clouds on the chest of the enemy of the demon Kaitabha, Vishnu, which is beautiful and blue like the rainbearing cloud, shower blessings on me.

bhaargavanandhnaayaaH- of Mahalakshmi who was the daughter of Bhrgu ,
Vishnu purana says that Mahalaksmi was the daughter of sage Bhrgu, mind-born from Brahma and Khyathi , his wife. Due to a curse she resorted to the milky ocean, from where she emerged as Mahalakshmi during the churning of it for amrtha.

May the smiling half-glance looking askance , of the daughter of the ocean by the power of which Manmatha set his foot first in the Lord of auspiciousness and the destroyer of the demon Madhu, fall on me.

May the half glance of Mahalakshmi, which is the sibling of the inside of blue lotus, which is capable of giving the sovereignty of this world and also devaloka, whimsically and the cause of immense joy to the slayer of the demon Mura, rest a little on me for a moment.

pushtim krsheeshta mama pushkaravishtaraayaaH
May that glance which shines like the inner part of lotus, of Mahaklakshmi, who resides in lotus, by which even those who have never done the vedic rites like yajna etc. reach the heaven easily, may bestow the fulfillment of my wishes.

dhushkarmaDharmam apaneeya chiraaya dhooram
naaraayaNapraNayinee nayanaambuvaahaH
May the rain-bearing cloud in the form of the eyes of Mahalakshmi which is with the wind of mercy, give me , the helpless young chathaka, who is suffering, the shower of fortune which will eradicate the effect of bad karma by removing it very far.
naaraayaNapraNayinee nayanaambuvaahaH- the rain-bearing cloud in the form of the eyes of Mahalakshmi whom is naraayaNa pranayinee, the beloved of Narayana,
dhayanupavanaH- which is followed by the wind of mercy ( the mercy like the wind which follows the eyes which are likened to a cloud,cloud ( ambuvaaha means that which bears water. Here the eyes creates shower of wealth)
dhadhyaath- may give
akinchana vihanga SiSou- the helpless young chathaka bird, (akinchana means helpless and vihanga= bird, SiSu- the young one.) Chathaka is a mythological bird whih livesonly on rainwater. Here it means the devotee who is helpless and suffering, solely dependent on the mercy of the divine mother Mahalakshmi.

Salutations to that consort of the sole master of the three worlds, who is known as Sarasvathi, Lakshmi , Bhoodevi and Gouri in her role in creation protection and annihilation.

SasiSekharavallabhaa ithi- as Parvati, the consort of Siva who wears the moon on his crown,
Srshti sThithi pralaya kelishu- in her sport of creation, sustenance and annihilation. This refers to Sarasvathi, the shakthi of Brahma the creator, Lakshmi the shakthi of Vishnu the protector and Parvati, the shakthi of Siva the annihilator.

Salutations to her who is the embodiment of Vedas and the giver of the fruit of good deeds , salutations to her who is embodiment of love and an ocean of beautiful attributes, salutations to her who is embodiment of power and resides in a lotus, who is the embodiment of prosperity and the beloved of the Supreme Purusha.

namosthu nandhathmaja vallabhaayai
salutations to her who is lustrous and has eyes like lotus, salutations to her who is wealth and who gave birth to the world, salutations to her who is worshipped by the devas and salutations to her who is the beloved of the son of Nandha.
16.sampathkaraaNi sakalendhriyanandhanaani
saamraajyadhaana vibhavaani saroruhakshi
thvadhvandhanaani dhurithaaharaNodhyathaani
maameva maatharaniSam kalayanthu maanye
The salutations to You, oh the worshipful lotus-eyed mother, are capable of giving prosperity, please the senses, are powerful to give even the kingdoms and they strive to remove the obstacles. May they always perform these to me.

Be pleased with me oh devi, who resides in lotus, and has lotus in your hands, wearing whitest robes and fragrant garlands, and who is the loving wife of Lord Hari and who is beautiful and the benefactor of the three worlds.
