Hymn on his Holiness Sri Jayendra Sarasvati

Note:The name of his holiness begins with the word Jaya.  

The theme of the hymn is also Jaya - Success, glory.

पूर्वापूर्वबलाद् येन चन्द्रशेखरसद्गुरोः।
जिता पूर्णा कृपा तस्मै जयेन्द्रगुरवे नमः॥१॥
 By the strength of the great virtues of the past, he won the grace of the great preceptor Shri Chandrashekarendra Sarasvati. Salutations to such Sri Jayendra Guru.  
தன்னுடைய பூர்வபுண்ணிய பலத்தினால் ஶ்ரீசந்த்ரசேகரேந்திர குருவின் பரிபூரணமான அருளைப் பெறுவதில் ஜயம் பெற்ற ஶ்ரீஜயேந்திர குருவினை வணங்குகிறேன்.

प्रत्याहारादिभिर्येन मनइन्द्रियसंहतिः।
निर्जिता निखिला तस्मै जयेन्द्रगुरवे नमः॥२॥ 
By Pratyahara and other practices he conquered his mind and the senses, salutations to such Sri Jayendra Guru.
ப்ரத்யாஹாரம் முதலிய யோகமுறைகளினால் தனது மனதையும்,  புலன்களையும் பூரணமாக ஜயித்த  ஶ்ரீஜயேந்திர குருவினை வணங்குகிறேன்.


येनानुग्रहवर्षाभिः भक्तजातं कृपालुना।
निर्जितं निखिलं तस्मै  जयेन्द्रगुरवे नमः॥३॥ 
Salutations to Sri Jayendra Guru who - by compassionately raining blessings, won (the hearts of) the devotees, .   
அருள்மழையினைப் பொழிந்து பக்தர்களை (தன்வயப்படுத்துவதில்) ஜயம்கண்ட  ஶ்ரீஜயேந்திர குருவினை வணங்குகிறேன்.

सत्यनिष्ठतया येन दुष्टशासकदुर्मतिः।
पराजिता भृशं तस्मै  जयेन्द्रगुरवे नमः॥४॥ 
Salutations to such Sri Jayendra Guru who being steadfast in truthfulness, fittingly defeated the evil intentions of the rulers.    
சத்தியத்தில் ஸ்திரமாக நின்றதன் மூலம் தவறான எண்ணங்களைக் கொண்ட ஆட்சியாளர்களை வெற்றி கொண்ட  ஶ்ரீஜயேந்திர குருவினை வணங்குகிறேன்.

इहलोको जितो येन सद्यो मोक्षपुरी शुभा।
विजिता शाश्वती तस्मै  जयेन्द्रगुरवे नमः॥५॥
Salutations to such Sri Jayendra Guru  who (after having) won this world (in the above manner) has now conquered the citadel of beatitude. 
இவ்விதம், இவ்வுலகை ஜயித்து நித்தியமான மோக்ஷபுரியையும் தற்போதுஜயித்துள்ள  ஶ்ரீஜயேந்திர குருவினை வணங்குகிறேன்.

जयेन्द्रसद्गुरोः स्तोत्रं जयरामेण यत्कृतम्।
इहामुत्रजयाकाङ्क्षी पठन्नित्यं जयी भवेत्॥ 
The one desirous of Jaya (success) in this world and the other, on reciting this  hymncomposed by Jaya-rama on Sri Jayendra Sadguru will always attain Jaya.
இவ்வுலகிலும் மேலுலகிலும் ஜயத்தை விரும்புபவர், ஜயராமனால் இயற்றப்பட்ட இந்த ஜயேந்த்ர ஸத்குருஸ்தோத்திரத்தை நித்தியம் படித்தால்ஜயம் பெறுவது நிச்சயம். 

॥इति हेमलम्बनामसंवत्सरे उत्तरायणे शिशिरर्तौ कुम्भमासे शुक्लपक्षे पूर्णिमायां श्रीमद्वसन्तामहादेवसूनुना रचितं श्रीसद्गुरुजयेन्द्रसरस्वतीसोत्रं सम्पूर्णम्॥
