Greetings and Namaste. Sri Krishna Jayanti falls on 11th August (or 13th September depending on the traditions) and in that connection I am delighted to share a short and very sweet prayer on Lord Krishna by Akrura taken from Padma Puranam, Uttara Khanda and Chapter 260 (titled Kamsa Vadha).
Lord Shiva mentions that one who chants this hymn at the time of taking bath gets the benefit of bathing in all holy rivers and attains Lord Vishnu's abode in addition to getting relief from all troubles.
May We Pray To Lord Krishna on His Janmashtami day with this exquisite prayer and accrue immense spiritual wealth!
