Greetings and Namaste. Rata Saptami falls on 06-Feb-2014 and in that connection I am pleased attach a rare Surya Dashakam by Lord Ishvara from Skanda Puranam, Prabhasa Khanda, Prabhasa Kshetra Mahatmyam, Chapter 11.
Though there is no phalashruti immediately after this stotra, the chapter explains the greatness of Sun worship and the Lord Ishvara prayer personifies Lord Surya as all-encompassing.
