Kuchela gave flaked rice, you gave him a kingdom of devotion
Kubja gave you inguents and you removed her hunch
Sabari gave you some fruits and got the kingdom of heaven
What can I give you my Lord to get such kind of devotion!
What do I have to give you which is not yours already
I have my sins , my ignorance, which alone are mine
Can I exchange them for your causeless grace
But that will be a bad bargain for you Oh Lord!
I can say I love you and offer you my love
But it is but a drop in the ocean of your love
As long as I say 'I love you' or 'I give you,'
I do not deserve your grace for, the 'I' should go.
Take the 'I' from me and give me 'Thou,'
Let me live in 'Thee' forgetting myself
Make me yours and let the air I breathe
Bring your name and fill my heart .
