2) Variations with Sutras:

Variations are there due to Kalpa. India is a vast Country. Many many rishis and intellectuals were born.

Vedas and Upanishads are common. But in doing rituals each follows a lineage belonged to one's ancestors.

Kalpa is the method of ritual.

The Srauta Sutras which explain the ritual of sacrifices belong to Kalpa.

The Sulba Sutras, which treat of the measurements which are necessary for laying out the sacrificial areas, also belong to Kalpa.

The GRIHYA SUTRAS which concern on domestic life.

The Dharma Sutras which deal with ethics, customs and laws, also belong to Kalpa.

The Pratishakhyas, Padapathas, Kramapathas, Upalekhas, Anukramanis, Daivatsamhitas, Parishishtas, Prayogas, Paddhatis, Karikas, Khilas and Vyuhas are further elaborations in the rituals of the Kalpa Sutras.

Among the Kalpa Sutras, the Asvalayana, Sankhyana and the Sambhavya belong to the Rig-Veda.

The Mashaka, Latyayana, Drahyayana, Gobhila and Khadira belong to the Sama-Veda. The Katyayana and Paraskara belong to the Sukla Yajur-Veda.

The Apastamba, Hiranyakesi, Bodhayana, Bharadvaja, Manava, Vaikhanasa and the Kathaka belong to the Krishna Yajur-Veda.

The Vaitana and the Kaushika belong to the Atharva-Veda.

3) Variations with Siddhanta:

Variations on the Siddhanta is variations with concepts with Para Brahmam and Jeevatma.

After praayashchitta arghyam,

"OM bhuurbhuvassuvah"

Take little water on your right palm and through around the head in clock wise direction

For Visistadvaita followers,

Turn around yourself in clockwise direction as pradakshina
"asaavaadityo brahmaa" (Salute the sun with anjali mudra).

For Advaita followers,

With both hands touch the middle of the chest . close the eyes , meditate and chant

"Asaavadhityo brahma. Brahamaivahamasmi. Brahmaiva satyam "

Only Advaita followers added the advaitic concept.

'Brahamaivahamasmi' - ' I am Brahma'

'Brahmaiva satyam' - Brahmam is TRUE.
