Greetings and Namaste. As Sri. Matsya Jayanthi falls on Tuesday, the 7th of May 2013, I am attaching a very short hymn by Lord Brahma taken from Nrusimha Puranam, Chapter 37 which briefly describes Matsya Avatara.
Though Stutis on Lord Vishnu are aplenty, stutis specific to Matsya Avatar are just handful, as far as I have seen. I am not able to find a specific Matsyavatara Stuti in Matsya Purana, although many other stutis on Varaha/Vamana/Nrusimha avatars are found.
May We seek The Blessing of Lord Matsya!
