*विधूय क्ळेशान् मे कुरु चरणयुग्मम् धृतरसं*
*भवत्क्षेत्रप्राप्तौ करमपि च ते पूजनविधौ*
*भवन्मूर्त्त्यालोके नयनमथ ते पादतुळसी*
*परिघ्राणे घ्राणं श्रवणमपि ते चारुचरिते ॥७॥*
*श्रीमन्नारायणीयं दशकं ३*
*vidhūya kḻeśān me kuru caraṇayugmam dhṛtarasaṁ*
* bhavatkṣetraprāptau karamapi ca te pūjanavidhau*
*bhavanmūrttyāloke nayanamatha te pādatuḻasī*
*parighrāṇe ghrāṇaṁ śravaṇamapi te cārucarite ||7||*
*śrīmannārāyaṇīyaṁ daśakaṁ 3*

*The sincere devotee that Bhattathiri is, his eagerness is that all his
motor functions and sense organs should be of great use in the worship of
Guruvayurppan present in his holy abode..*
* " My Guruvayurappa, please remove the arthritic pains on my legs
completely so that I can walk up to your temple quickly to serve you. You
give strength to my hands to perform pooja to your lotus feet always. Give
brightness to my eyes so that I can always has the pleasure of seeing your
beautiful form. Let my organs for smelling be acute so that I can enjoy the
aroma of the tulasi leaves that adorn your attractive pair of feet. And
bless me with the capacity of good hearing so that I can always listen to
your lore explained by bhakthas chanting stories from Srimad Bhagavatham and
other great books. *

*The functional organs and sense organs have any real use only if they are
dedicated in the service of the lord. *
*Organs for silly enjoyment can only waste our life.*
