Other forms of the Lord which include the dvAtriMshanmukha and panchAshanmukha gaNDabheruNDa nR^isiMhas are also worshipped by upAsakas for attaining various siddhis. The gaNDabheruNDa nR^ihari nAma stotra popular among upAsakas is simply a list of the fifty faces/forms of the Lord. Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.

Great Posting KN.Ramesh. I wonder where did you get such valuable information from ? This form of God is known to only some few staunch bhaktas. I would like to see more postings from you regarding our beloved god Sri hari ( Narasimha ).
ReplyDeleteRegards,
Suman - pulicheri.suman@gmail.com
Hi. I first learnt about this form of Narasimha one year ago. There is a small town in Karnataka where this special Upasaka is practised. In fact, there is a German (Hindu convert) who has released a CD containing this particular Narasimha's mantras. You may have to google it up.
ReplyDeleteThis article is taken from kamakoti mandali but without due credits. Bad internet behavior.

Shavites claim that sharabh form is based on Shiva Purana, Linga Purana , sharabh upnishad ,etc . So, can you please give references of shastras also where Gandaberunda form is mentioned ?
