ఒక భక్తుడు మస్కట్‌లో కొంతకాలం ఉద్యోగం చేస్తున్నాడు మరియు అతను భార్యా బిడ్డలతో కలిసి ఉన్నాడు. శృంగేరి ఆచార్యుల యొక్క గొప్ప భక్తుడు అయిన అతను భారతదేశాన్ని సందర్శించిన ప్రతిసారీ తన కుటుంబంతో కలిసి శృంగేరి పర్యటనకు వెళ్లేవాడు.
కొన్ని సంవత్సరాల తరువాత అతను ఒక కొత్త కారును కొనుగోలు చేశాడు మరియు విహార యాత్ర కోసం తన కుటుంబంతో కలిసి మస్కట్ (2 గం ప్రయాణము) నుండి సోహార్ వెళ్ళడానికి ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించాడు. అతను తన 11 ఏళ్ల కుమారుడితో పాటు డ్రైవింగ్ సీటులో కూర్చున్నాడు. అతని భార్య వెనుక సీటులో కూర్చొన్నది.
వారు సగం దూరం దాటిన తరువాత, అతని కారు వున్నట్లుండి టైర్ పేలడం వల్ల అదుపు తప్పి రహదారికి దూరంగా వెళ్ళడం ప్రారంభించింది. ఇది రహదారిపై నుంచి గొప్ప వేగంతో ప్రయాణించి, నాలుగైదు సార్లు దొర్లి పల్టీలు కొట్టి, బోల్తా పడి చివరకు ఓ లోతైన ఇసుక గొయ్యిలో పడిపోయినది. కానీ అది రహదారి పై నుంచి ప్రక్కకు పడిపోయేముందు, తన కారు ముందు జ్యేష్ఠ మహా సన్నిధానం తనను రక్షిస్తూ కారుకు అడ్డముగా నిలబడినట్లుగా భక్తునికి కనిపించినది. వెనుక కిటికీ పూర్తిగా విరిగిపోయినది మరియు కారు ముందు భాగం పూర్తిగా నలిగిపోయి ఇసుక గొయ్యి లోపల లోతుగా కూరుకుపోయినది.
వెనుక సీటులో ఉన్న భక్తుడి భార్య కారులోంచి పైకి లేచి తన కొడుకు, భర్త కోసం పిచ్చిగా అరుస్తూ ఉన్నది. ఈలోగా పోలీసు అధికారులు వచ్చి ఆమెను డ్రైవర్ మరియు ఇతర ప్రయాణీకుల గురించి అడుగుతున్నారు.
ఎలాగోలాగా కొడుకు ముందు సీటు నుండి తనను తాను విడదీసుకొని బయటపడినాడు. కానీ భక్తుడి నుండి ఎటువంటి కదలికలు లేవు మరియు చుట్టూ గుమిగూడిన ప్రజలు డ్రైవర్ అపస్మారక స్థితిలో వున్నాడా లేక చనిపోయినాడా అని భావించినారు. సమయం గడిచిపోతున్నది మరియు భర్త క్షేమం కోసం భార్య మరియు కొడుకు పిచ్చిగా ఆచార్యులను ప్రార్థిస్తున్నారు.
అకస్మాత్తుగా ముందు కారు తలుపు తెరుచుకొని భక్తుడు బయటకు వచ్చినాడు, తక్కువ గాయాలతో క్షేమంగా బయటపడ్డాడు. ముందు భాగం పూర్తిగా దెబ్బతిని నుజ్జు నుజ్జు అయిన కారు నుండి అతను ఎలా బయటపడ్డాడనే దానిపై అందరూ ఆశ్చర్యముగా చూస్తూ వున్నారు. భక్తుడు లోపలి నుండి తలుపును అన్‌లాక్ చేసి, చివరకు క్షేమంగా బయటపడినాడు. ఇప్పుడు అతను పూర్తిగా సుఖంగా ఉన్నాడు. కారు ముందు భాగం చాలా దెబ్బతిన్నది మరియు ఎడారిలో అమితమైన వేడి మధ్య ఇసుక మధ్యలో కూరుకుపోయిన కారులో నుంచి క్షేమంగా బయటపడటం ప్రశ్నార్ధకమే అని అన్నాడు భక్తుడు. ఆచార్యుల యొక్క నిర్హేతుకమైన కృపా కటాక్షముల చేతనే వారు క్షేమంగా ఈ ఆపద నుంచి బయట పడేలా చేసింది అని భక్తుడు శ్రీ గురువులకు సమర్పణలు చేసినాడు.

This devotee was employed in Muscat for quite some time and was staying with his wife and son.
Being an ardent devotee of the Sringeri Acharyas, he used to make a trip to Sringeri with his family, every time he visited India.
After couple of years he purchased a new car, and made plans to go to Sohar from Muscat (a 2hr drive) with his family to pay a social visit. He was at the driving seat with his 11 year old son beside him. His wife was at the back seat.
When they were halfway through, his car started skidding away from the road due to a tyre burst. It went off the road and travelled at great speed, tumbled, bumped and rolled several times before it plunged into a deep sand pit. But just before it went off the road, the devotee had a glimpse of Jyestha Mahasannidanam standing in front of his car as if to protect him. The rear window was completely broken and the front of the car crushed and stuck deep inside the sand pit, making the car stand like a turkey with its neck stuck beneath the earth.
The wife of the devotee who was at the back seat managed to climb out of the car and was frantically yelling out for her son and husband. In the meantime the police officials had arrived and were asking her about the driver and other passenger.
Somehow the son untangled himself from the front seat and let himself out.
And there was no sign of movement from the devotee and people who gathered around thought that the driver was either unconscious or dead. Time passed by and the wife and son were madly praying Acharyal for the devotee's safety.
Suddenly the front car door opened and outcame the devotee, scratch less and unharmed. There was so much hue and cry as to how he got out of the car which was completely smashed in the front.
It seems the devotee was trying to unlock the door automatically from inside and finally got out unharmed. He was completely at ease.
According to the devotee, with so much of cart wheeling, front of the car smashed, excessive heat amidst desert and unknown territory and with the family's safety in question, it is the Prathyaksha Darshanam of Acharyal that made them come out of the situation unharmed.
